Once Upon A Nightmare Part 1Haze. Clouding my vision, and filling me with that odd falling sensation you get just before sleep. Then standing in a street. Dank, dirty, the once neat cobblestones jutting out from use and no one bothering to fix them. I took a step and the stones were as cold and sharp as ice, one slicing deep into the bottom of my foot. My cry was strangled as I was hit by the odor. A reek of sewage, rotting food, and water forming little cesspools on the sides of the filthy street. Tears and little white pillsYelling Over something stupid like doing dishes. Only her yelling, you just cringing, cowering, holding back the tears until you can make it upstairs. She says sorry for snapping, and it stings like a papercut that the words are so hollow. Those three little words that she doesn't mean. How can she be over it so fast as if nothing happened?
